Call for Research Participants on Transpersonal Experiences

Greetings,

My name is Ana G. Reyes. I am on a research team led by Dr. Jan Holden, a professor in the Counseling Program at the University of North Texas. I am writing to extend the invitation for you to participate in a research study on transpersonal experiences. Transpersonal experiences are defined as experiences that transcendent the usual limits of space, time, or identity. Such experiences can take a myriad of forms; some examples include, but are not limited to, near-death experiences, precognition (knowing the future), and telepathy (knowing what another being is experiencing).

The aim of this study is to explore the transpersonal experiences of counselors.

Participants must hold an active license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). If you do not hold an active license as an LPC, please consider forwarding this email to anyone who you believe may be interested in participating.

If you agree to participate in this study, you will be asked to sign an informed consent prior to completing the questionnaire. The questionnaire takes approximately 35-45 minutes to complete. Your participation in this study is completely voluntary and confidential.
